History

Since its inception in 1993, JATC members have captured more than 850 Track & Field and XC National Championship medals, including 110 first-place individual and team medals.

During last July’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, JATC athletes brought home two national championships and 27 top-10 finishes at one of the premier and most competitive youth events in the country.

And at last December’s AAU Cross Country National Championships, one national champion, one second-place team, five All-Americans and 22 national medals came home to Oklahoma.

Our consistently strong results have bolstered the number and amount of scholarships offered to our student-athletes from institutions across the country. To date, 170 current and former athletes have received scholarship offers worth millions of dollars. Though we train to compete at a high level, we know that results are measured by more than medals. Improvements to personal records, 110-percent efforts at training sessions and competitive meets and simply finishing the race may be celebrated milestones.
